TO ENTER: Create an original cocktail recipe using either Mionetto's IL Prosecco or Mionetto's Prosecco Brut as an ingredient ("Recipe"). Recipes that do not contain at least one of the products listed above will be automatically disqualified. Recipe must be in exact U.S. measurements, must list ingredients and include step-by-step preparation instructions. Recipes must be original and must be written in English. Cocktail names or Recipes deemed inappropriate to post online by Mionetto USA ("Sponsor") will be disqualified. Recipes may not include any ingredients that may not be legally purchase in the United States. Recipes also may not include the brand name of any other product or the trademark of any other manufacturer. You may submit your entry between 12:01 AM ET 06/01/08 and 11:59 PM ET 12/31/08 ("Promotion Period") by going to www.mionettousa.com and following the on-screen directions to submit your entry. Internet entries must be submitted by 11:59 PM ET on 12/31/08. Enter as often as you wish, but each entry must be substantially different. Should the same recipe be submitted by different entrants, the first entry received will be considered valid and all subsequent identical recipes will be disqualified. All entries become the property of Sponsor and none will be returned.
ELIGIBILITY: This Contest is open to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia (excluding residents of California and Utah) who are twenty-one (21) years of age or older at time of entry. Employees of Sponsor, its affiliates, subsidiaries, distributors, sales representatives, advertising, promotion and judging agencies and all other service agencies involved with this Contest; employees of alcoholic beverage wholesalers, distributors, and retailers; and members of the immediate families (parent, child, sibling and spouse) or households of any of the above are not eligible.
JUDGING: Online Judging: all eligible entries will be posted on the Sponsor's website, www.mionettousa.com for judging starting at 12:01 AM ET on 01/12/2009 through 11:59 PM ET on 3/31/2009 ("Voting Period"). Visitors to the website will be asked to vote for the best Recipe based on the following criteria: originality, the likely appeal of the drink if the Recipe were prepared, and ease of preparation. A valid email address will be required to vote. Contestants may vote. The three (3) entries accumulating the most votes will be declared "Finalists" (subject to eligibility verification). Limit: One Finalist per household. Internet votes must be received by 11:59 PM ET on 03/31/09. Limit one vote per person/e-mail address for the entire Voting Period. Automated methods of voting are prohibited. In the event of a tie for the third Finalist, the entries involved in the tie will be re-judged by a qualified panel of judges designated by Sponsor, who will serve as a tiebreaker and who will evaluate entries according to the criteria listed above. Final Judging: The top three (3) scoring entries from the Online Judging points will be the Finalists and will then advance to final judging to be conducted in New York, NY on or about 05/15/09 (date subject to change). The Finalists will prepare their Recipes to be judged by a qualified panel of judges. Drinks must be prepared according the Recipes, without substantial changes to ingredients, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. Drinks will be judged based on Originality (up to 10 points), Taste (up to 10 points) and Appearance (up to 10 points). Ingredients will be provided by the Sponsor. The three (3) Finalist entries will be judged by a qualified panel of judges who will select the Grand, First and Second Prize winners based upon the criteria set forth above. Should any Finalist be unable to attend the Final Judging, his/her entry will be prepared by a local mixologist who will prepare the drink according to the Recipe and instructions of the Finalist. The decisions of the judges will be final and binding on all matters relating to this Contest. In the event of a tie for the Grand or First Prize, the prize money will divided equally between the tied entrants.
PRIZES: One (1) Grand Prize: $5,000.00, cash. One (1) First Prize: $1,000.00, cash. One (1) Second Prize: $500.00, cash. Limit one prize per Finalist.
Three (3) Finalist Trip Prizes: the three (3) Finalists will be flown to New York, NY for the final judging. Trip includes a 3-day/2-night trip for two (2) people to New York, NY, including round-trip coach air transportation from major airport nearest winner's U.S. residence (the particular airport at Sponsor's discretion) and hotel accommodations (one room/double occupancy) for (2) two nights. All expenses not specified herein, including but not limited to, meals, transportation (except as specified herein), taxes and gratuities are the sole responsibility of the winner. Winner's guest must be twenty-one years of age or older at time of travel. Winner and guest must travel on the same itinerary, and on the dates and times specified by Sponsor or prize will be forfeited in its entirety. However, winner does not need to travel to New York to have his/her Recipe included in the Final Judging. Winner and guest must comply with all security requirements. All travel and accommodations may be subject to change, restrictions, and black out periods. Any costs and expenses not expressly stated are the sole responsibility of the winner. If Finalist resides within 100 miles of New York, NY, s/he will receive a $500.00 American Express Gift card in lieu of air travel. Sponsor shall make all travel arrangements. Approximate Retail Value: $1,400.00, each. Actual value may vary depending on point of origin, destination city, time of travel and airfare fluctuations. Any difference between any stated value and actual value will not be awarded.
Prizes are not transferable. No cash redemption for Finalist trips. No prize substitutions permitted, except by Sponsor, who may substitute a prize of equal or greater value if advertised prize becomes unavailable. All prizes will be awarded provided they are properly claimed in accordance with these Official Rules and a sufficient number of eligible entries are received and provided further that circumstances permit.

Submission of a Recipe will constitute and signify the entrant's agreement and consent that the Sponsor and/or the Sponsor's assignees may use the entry, name, photograph, likeness and/or prize information for promotional purposes in commerce and in all media worldwide now known or hereinafter developed without time limitation and without further compensation, except where prohibited. Submission of a Recipe grants Sponsor and its agents the right to publish, use, adapt, edit and/or modify the entry in any way, in commerce and in any and all media worldwide now known or hereinafter developed, without time limitation and without further consideration to the entrant. Submission of any entry further constitutes the entrant's consent to irrevocably assign and transfer to the Sponsor any and all rights, title and interest in and to the entry, including, without limitation, all intellectual property rights. If, for any reason, this Contest is not capable of running as planned by any cause which, in the sole opinion of the Sponsor, corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Contest, Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend this Contest and determine Finalists from Entries received prior to action taken, or as otherwise deemed fair and equitable by Sponsor.
