Cantina di Soave, the number one Co-Operative winery in Italy, was founded in 1898 by a group of vine growers and wine producers who joined forces in order to improve production quality and bring unsurpassed value to consumers. The winery was organized to follow all steps from vineyard management, winemaking, marketing and sales to ensure that each member-grower would obtain optimal results. Today over 2,200 farmers are mem- bers of the Co-Operative and more than 14,800 acres are under vine, 70% of which are within the D.o.c. and D.o.c.g. zones. From its 6 wineries located throughout the Soave zone, Cantina di Soave makes a variety of award-winning indigenous wines from the region of Veneto including Soave, Val- policella Ripasso and Amarone.
Cantina di Soave (CDS) USA, the marketing and importing company for the world-renowned Veneto-based winery, Cantina di Soave, focuses on culti- vating and promoting indigenous and historical varietals from the Veneto region. CDS USA has chosen the delicious Duca del Frassino wine-in-a-box to make its debut in the US. The CDS USA team will continue to select wines from Cantina di Soave that they feel will expose the American wine consumers to the rich Veronese wine history.
